How much money will CETOL 6σ save me?

This is dependent on the individual project and the requirements of the customer. CETOL’s monetary savings can be related to the time and scrap savings, with the 4000-hour saving equating to £400,000 in labor and the 26% scrap reduction saving £36,000 in product costs.

What CAD packages are supported with CETOL 6σ ?

CETOL 6σ has direct integration with SolidWorks®, Creo®, Catia®, and Siemens NXTM.

How much scrappage will I save by integrating Tolerance Analysis into my design and testing process?

This is dependent on the individual project and the requirements of the customer. Tolerance Analysis's ability to reduce scrap rates comes from its detailed worst-case and statistically fully 3D tolerance analyses of CAD models. Cetol 6σ has been used to reduce one customer’s scrap rates from 30% down to 6%.

Can I specify GD&T in CETOL 6σ?

For every dimension that is defined in the model, there is the option to leave it as a basic dimension or add in tolerances or feature control giving you as much control as necessary over every feature of the model. All tolerancing complies with ISO standards resulting in no loss of product quality or traceability.

How much Time will Tolerance Analysis save me?

This is dependent on the individual project and the requirements of the customer. Time can be saved through the detailed CAD integration where pre-defined tolerances can be brought in from the CAD model and from the level of analysis obtained from each simulation. One study performed using CETOL 6σ generated a time reduction from 6000 hours per year on tolerance analysis to 2000 hours.

GD&T Advisor is your expert guide for the correct application of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing on your design drawings that are necessary to insure the functional requirements of your products. Ensuring compliance with ISO or ASME standards, you will experience greatly improved productivity. For example, using GD&T Advisor will typically expected to reduce time and clicks to apply GD&T by more than 70%.
